Gravesend Peer Support Group offers people in the early stages of dementia the opportunity to share experiences and talk to others in a similar situation. The group offers practical and emotional support in a confidential environment. This includes information and advice tailored to individual needs, as well as signposting and advice on support available, and the opportunity to share experiences.
There is a facilitator at every session and the sessions are supported by Dementia Mentors, a person who has dementia themselves and can help you to understand the condition from a personal point of view.
Gravesend Peer Support Group meets regularly in the centre of Gravesend. For information on dates, times and venue, please call 01474 533900.
